loughgallcountrypark@armagh.gov.uk

Loughgall Country Park is proving the perfect rendezvous for children for all
ages.  Such is the variety of facilities available and the level of safety in which
they can be enjoyed that youngsters are flocking to the park.  And that is hardly
surprising given that an extensive children's play area includes swings, slides
etc. as well as an Adventure Trail for older children.  In effect, this is a
mini-assault course that gives children the chance to develop co-ordination,
balance, agility, athelticism and stamina in a non-competitive environment.
Indeed, such as the advantages being derived from this that more and more
parents are becoming aware of the positive impact the facilities can have on
their children's well-being.  Parents can have the opportunity to relax while
their children enjoy themselves in an atmosphere in which the emphasis
is very much on the fun element.

Gargoyles & Angels: Armagh Miniature Street Sculpture

How to find them?  Gargoyles are shy creatures and it by the very nature of their business that guardian angels are never seen.  Hence you will only discover these creatures by accident or by exploring the city with curious eyes!  They are hiding in booot scraper niches, behind glass doors, on drain pipes and on walls, they are climbing gables, watch from ledges and peep down from house corners!   No more than 16 inches high these gargoyles, angels and chimeras sport a stylish, and perhaps particularly Irish, greenish camouflage.   But are they friend or foe?   Have great family fun by finding them before they fine you.....
