Armagh Art Club have been exhibiting in the Museum for over 40 years.  Whether you are a first time visitor or on a return trip, this exhibition will be great opportunity to view paintings from the county and further afield. Works are for sale.

Armagh Natural History and Philosophical Society were instituted in 1850 and moved to the Museum in 1856 with their collection of antiquities and curiosities. This was the foundation of the Museum’s collection and this exhibition shows examples of the kind of things they collected.

Mad or Bad?

An exhibition exploring mental health, crime and gender in Ireland during the last half of the nineteenth century. Original documents and objects form the period will be used to illustrate this complex story. The exhibition will especially focus on how and why women who had committed crimes were treated differently from men.

Celebrate Harvest at the Museum and discover the myths surrounding Halloween including crafts, trails and competitions which are suitable for primary school-aged children who must be accompanied by an adult.
