For the first time ever, the doors of the majestic Archbishop’s Palace will be opened to the public for a Black Tie gala banquet.  Guests will join Georgian Characters in an evening of entertainment, enjoying some Georgian past times with music and an amazing 5 course menu prepared by The Yellow Door

The menu selected by local award winning chefs will feature many dishes which could have been found on the Georgian Dining table.  Menu includes cocktail reception and all wines.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year as Armagh’s annual Georgian Day marks the beginning of the Christmas season.

Armagh’s much loved Georgian Day returns to mark the beginning of the Christmas season.  See Armagh in all its festive glory, sparkling with lights as the Ancient Cathedral City goes back to its Georgian roots.  More than 70 stalls, hosted by traders in Georgian costumes, will line the streets for a unique experience that cannot be missed.

Festive music, horse-drawn carriage rides and the smell of mulled wine and mince pies exude a unique Christmassy atmosphere for all to enjoy.

The Children’s Market at The Shambles Yard will offer a family friendly experience with traditional fairground games & rides, festive stalls with treats & gifts suitable for little people, real reindeer, light sculptures, workshops & crafts all served with lashings of sprinkles and glitter!

 As the city grows dark, the dramatic Light Show, will burst to life, illuminating the backdrop of the Georgian Market House and creating a festive atmosphere with contemporary and seasonal music. A must see for all visitors to the City!
